Jaccob McKay
Photographer, Wangaratta VIC

Growing up in the Dandenong Ranges had a big impact on the way Jaccob sees the world. Being surrounded by giant eucalyptus trees and lush, ferny forests instilled a deep love and respect for the natural world, which has lead him to his current practices exploring these wonders through a range of mediums. Jaccob’s work shines a light on the intrinsic beauty that surrounds us in nature, both large and small, and he endeavours to work with people, businesses and brands who share this love of nature.

In addition to photography, Jaccob quenches his artistic curiosities through a makers shop, graphic design studio and a life-long passion for music. Father of one and step-dad of two, Jaccob and his family can often be found down by the river, exploring the bush or looking for pine mushrooms in the mountains near their home in Wangaratta.
